    For local shipments, our fastest option is White Glove courier service. We guarantee delivery within 2 hours for up to 50 miles. For longer distances, we continue to offer same-day service by adding 1.6 minutes per mile between 50 and 100 miles, and 1 minute per mile beyond that. Our courier fleet includes everything from cars and cargo vans up to 26-foot bobtails and flatbeds, depending on the size and nature of the shipment.

    For urgent long-distance deliveries, our Next Flight Out service uses the next available commercial flight, with same-day pickup and delivery on both ends. This service is ideal for shipments up to 70 pounds and no larger than 90 inches total (length + width + height), with no one side exceeding 48 inches. Exceptions may be possible depending on the airline.

    For larger dock-to-dock freight moves, our freight brokerage division can typically dispatch a truck within 2 to 4 hours and go direct to destination using 48' or 53' trailers.

  • How is mileage calculated between two points?

    We use a consistent, proven method to calculate mileage, starting with the straight-line distance between ZIP codes using the haversine formula—a standard approach for measuring distance between two geographic points. We then apply a route factor to reflect actual driving conditions. While tools like PC*MILER and Google Maps are commonly used in the industry, each can generate slightly different mileage based on routing preferences, traffic, or time of day. That’s why we default to our standardized approach—for fairness, consistency, and predictability across all shipments.   • Is my package insured?

    Yes. Every shipment includes limited liability coverage up to $100 at no additional cost. If you're shipping high-value items, you can request additional coverage at the time of booking for an added charge. Jet Delivery also maintains broader insurance policies to protect our operations and customers, including cargo insurance up to $300,000 and umbrella liability coverage of $4 million.   • Can I be notified at each stage of my shipment?

    Yes. Jet Delivery provides real-time notifications throughout every key stage of your shipment—from pickup confirmation to in-transit updates, delays (if any), and final delivery. Notifications can be sent by email or SMS, and include important details like time stamps, signatures, and any special handling notes. For high-volume or recurring shipments, we also offer customizable reporting and system integrations through our Shipment Status Notification tools.

  • Can I request a shipping report?

    Yes. Jet offers both standard and custom reporting options to help you stay in control of your shipping data.     Yes. While same-day delivery is a core part of our business, Jet Delivery also provides a range of logistics services designed to support more complex operations.     Jet Delivery operates 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year.   • Is there a detention time charge?

    Yes. If a driver is delayed at pickup or delivery beyond the standard included time, detention charges may apply. For smaller vehicles, the first 10 minutes are included at no charge. For larger vehicles—15 feet and above—the first hour is free. We understand that delays happen, and our goal is always to be flexible and fair.
