Critical is our flagship expedited service, trusted by businesses for over 50 years. Designed for fast-moving, time-sensitive deliveries, Critical ensures pickup and delivery within three hours of your order being ready. It’s the gold standard in express delivery—fast, reliable, and consistent.

Once your shipment is entered into our system, it is assigned to a dedicated regional service team. This team identifies the most suitable driver and dispatches your shipment immediately—actively monitoring progress and keeping you informed from pickup to drop-off.

Limits of Service

  • For urgent shipments under 1,000 lbs

    Critical is ideal for fast deliveries that demand speed and precision but don’t require specialized handling.

  • Rapid response and consistent turnaround

    Pickup and delivery are typically completed within three hours of the shipment being ready. (Additional time may apply for shipments traveling more than 50 miles.)

  • Flexible vehicle options

    Select from a variety of vehicle types, including cars, minivans, and both open and enclosed pickup trucks.

  • 24/7 availability

    Service is available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. Overtime fees apply for shipments scheduled before 7:00 AM, after 7:00 PM, or on weekends and holidays.

As soon as your order is placed, our automated dispatch system, LEAF (Location Enabled Asset Finder), identifies the closest qualified driver and assigns the job within seconds. From there, our dispatch and customer service teams actively monitor the shipment in real time until it reaches its destination, delivering unmatched speed, reliability, and visibility from start to finish.

  • Is real-time GPS tracking included?

    Yes—real-time GPS tracking is included with every shipment. Anyone with a valid tracking number or the unique reference ID you provided at the time of booking can easily track a delivery from our website with up-to-the-second location updates. If you’re logged into your account, you’ll also have access to an in-transit dashboard showing live statuses of all your active shipments in one place—complete with timestamps, driver locations, and delivery progress.

  • Will I be notified when my shipment is picked up or delivered?

    Yes. Jet Delivery can send automatic notifications by text message, email, or both at every key stage of your shipment—including pickup, delays, and final delivery. You can control when and how you receive updates by adjusting your notification preferences in your account settings, so you're always informed without unnecessary noise.

  • What vehicles are used for Critical deliveries?

    During booking, you’ll be able to select the vehicle type that best fits your shipment based on size, weight, and urgency. Critical deliveries most commonly use cars, mini vans, and open or enclosed pickup trucks—all operated by experienced drivers. All drivers use our mobile app, allowing us to track their exact location in real time and receive updates throughout the delivery process.

  • Can I integrate with Jet Delivery to quote, book, and track shipments?

    Yes. Jet Delivery offers modern API integration that allows you to quote shipments, check service availability and transit times, book orders, and track deliveries—all from within your own platform. Whether you're using a custom-built system or third-party logistics software, integration is fast and flexible.
