Service Details

Our Standard service is a dependable option for local shipments that need to be delivered by the end of the business day—without the urgency of rush delivery. Place your order by 12:00 PM, and we’ll ensure it’s picked up and delivered by 5:00 PM the same day.

Orders placed after 12:00 PM but before 5:00 PM can still be picked up the same day. These shipments will be securely held overnight and delivered promptly by 8:00 AM the next business day.

Limits of Service

  • For routine local shipments up to 1,000 lbs

    Standard is ideal when speed matters, but the shipment doesn’t require urgent or time-definite handling.

  • Same-day or next-day delivery

    Place your order by 12:00 PM for same-day delivery. Orders placed between 12:00 PM and 5:00 PM qualify for next-day morning delivery.

  • Service area and distance limits

    Shipments traveling more than 50 miles may require additional transit time or fees. Please inquire to confirm availability.

  • Overnight handling

    Storage fees apply for shipments held overnight for next-day delivery.

  • Coverage not guaranteed in all areas

    Standard shipments placed by 12:00 PM are picked up and delivered by 5:00 PM the same day. If you place an order between 12:00 PM and 5:00 PM, we’ll still pick it up that day and deliver it the next business morning at 8:00 AM. This service is ideal for routine same-day deliveries that aren’t as time-critical as our White Glove or Critical services.

  • Is GPS tracking included?

    Yes—real-time GPS tracking is included with every Standard shipment. You or your recipient can track the shipment online using the tracking number or reference ID added at the time of booking. If you're logged in to your account, you’ll also see live updates across all your in-transit deliveries on your dashboard.

  • Will I get updates when my shipment is picked up or delivered?

    Yes. Jet Delivery automatically sends status updates at key points—including pickup and final delivery—via text message, email, or both. You can manage your preferences in your account settings to receive notifications the way you prefer.

  • What types of shipments are a good fit for Standard Service?

    Standard Service is perfect for regular same-day shipments that don’t require urgent pickup or delivery. It’s commonly used for office documents, medical supplies, retail inventory, and internal transfers—anything that needs to arrive by end of day without the speed premium of White Glove or Critical.

  • Are there distance or weight limits for Standard shipments?

    Yes. Standard Service is available for shipments weighing up to 1,000 lbs and is best suited for deliveries within a 50-mile radius. Additional charges or transit time adjustments may apply beyond that range. For larger or longer-distance shipments, our Critical or Freight services may be a better fit.
