Information on Mobile App Privacy (In Plain English)
Location Data
We collect your location, but only under two circumstances: 1) you’ve made yourself available to work, or 2) you’re viewing the check-in screen. When collecting location data, we try to do it as little as possible, but if you’re moving, it may be recorded every few seconds. We try to capture your location no less than every minute, but if you’ve been still for a while, it’s not uncommon for us to completely stop collecting location data until we’ve noticed you moving again. All location data is sent to Jet Delivery and stored for an indefinite amount of time.
Device Information
Most Devices have a unique ID (some alphanumeric string that helps identify specific devices). You can think of this as a credit card number — each credit card has one, and it helps identify any particular credit card. While we don’t collect any of your credit card information, we do collect the unique ID associated with your device, as it’s necessary to send you push notification across multiple devices. We also collect other device information like IP address, operating system version, app version, user agent, etc.
Credentials (read, loosely: username and password)
So you don’t have to constantly enter your username and password, we save it for. We save it on the device itself, and it’s unencrypted. This applies to usernames, passwords and access tokens (we like JWTs, if you’re into that sort of stuff).
